ALDERSGATE HAPPENINGS

SUNDAY MORNING COFFEE & PASTRIES - The Sunday Coffee Fellowship Committee invites everyone to enjoy the complimentary fresh brewed coffee and delicious pastry selections offered each Sunday morning in the Family Life Center vestibule before Sunday school. Donations that were made during the "coffee fellowship time" to help offset expenses have been appreciated but will no longer be collected. During the past four years, the accumulated "Sunday Coffee Fund" ended each year with a very nice surplus. These extra funds were directed by the Sunday Coffee Fellowship Committee towards the general operating account, were used to purchase the Family Life Center Christmas tree and to purchase the new greenery that is used in the Sanctuary during the Advent season. Thanks to all of the generous support of this fellowship mission at Aldersgate. Please join us each Sunday morning for continued good conversation and fellowship.

KIds Own Worship has returned. We  have a new program entitled Children Worship. The children will learn about why we do what we do in our Worship services. Kids Own Worship will meet every Sunday except for the first Sunday of each month. This way the children may participate with their families in communion. Please remember to sign your child in for KOW before entering the sanctuary on KOW Sundays.

MEMBERSHIP MAILING LIST: The church office is working with new membership software - if you do not receive a newsletter or other mailing, please contact the church office at 477-0509. Also, if you have any changes in your contact information, please notify the office so that our  directory will have an accurate listing for you.

HEALTH KIT SUPPLIES NEEDED - MERCI has a great need for kit supplies and/or money for kit supplies (flood buckets, health and school kits, etc.). FELLOWSHIP FRIENDS: Have you ever gone to a place where you knew no one, then someone came along beside you and welcomed you, introduced you to others, gave you a tour of the facilities, introduced you to different groups, asked you about your faith journey, and made you feel at home? That's what Fellowship Friends are all about. You are invited to volunteer to become a Fellowship Friend. You will be trained and given the tools necessary to accomplish the journey. What is needed from you is your commitment and willingness to guide guests who decide to become part of the community of faith at Aldersgate.
