ALDERSGATE NIGHT AT
THE DURHAM BULLS: Come join us for a fun night of
fellowship, food and fun on Saturday, June 7th. Game time is 7:05
against the Charlotte Knights. Tickets are $8:00 each. The sign up
sheet is on the bulletin board outside the office. Come out and help
us root on our favorite home team. Contact

THANK YOU to
all those who participated in the Durham CROP Walk on Palm Sunday.
Aldersgate was well represented with over 60 Walkers. Please
continue to collect your donations from your sponsors and turn in
your envelopes to Joe Lyndon, or place them in the offering plate. A
very special THANKS to all who helped with the fellowship meal after
the walk.
JOURNEY TO JERUSALEM:
Lead families as they walk in the footsteps of Jesus. Come and join
the Jerusalem Marketplace team. We are bringing God's Word to life
at Aldersgate. No previous Holy Land or teaching experience is
necessary. Mark your calendar for Vacation

CHILD CARE: We
are looking for someone who loves children! We need someone to keep
the nursery on Wednesday nights and during special events at the
church. This will be a paid position. Please contact Evelyn Johnson
if you are interested.
ALDERSGATE PRESCHOOL AND
AFTER-SCHOOL: It is time for church members to register
their child in the Weekday School Programs for both Preschool and
After-school. If you have a child between the ages of 6 weeks and 5
years old, you may sign them up for our half-day preschool program.
Our After-school program serves children who are in grades
Kindergarten thru 8th grade. If you have questions or
want to schedule a tour, please call the Weekday School office at
479-8686 and ask for Karen or Mary Ann.
ALTAR FLOWERS FOR 2008:
There are several Sundays in 2008 for which no one has signed up to
provide flowers. This is a beautiful way to celebrate special
occasions and you honor or remember loved ones. The calendar is on
the bulletin board outside the church office. Contact the church
office for more information.
MEMBERSHIP MAILING LIST:
The church office is working with new membership software - if you
do not receive a newsletter or other mailing, please contact the
church office at 477-0509. Also, if you have any changes in your
contact information, please notify the office so that we will have an accurate listing for you.

Aldersgate, please wear your name tag each Sunday! Contact the church office if you need one. This is an
important part of Aldersgate's ministry.

So that we can preserve the hour for worship, all announcements must
be turned in to the church office by noon on Wednesday. Verbal announcements before worship services
will be made only for items that pertain to the entire congregation.
