Weekday School’s Inclement Weather Policy
In the case of inclement
weather here is our plan of action. Since we are a private program, we
do NOT follow Durham Public Schools schedule or inclement weather
policy. In the case of bad weather, please do one of the following.
Call Aldersgate and check the voicemail for status of school. Watch
WRAL or WTVD for listing of school closings. It will list Aldersgate
Weekday School (only if we are closed). Listen for your child’s
teacher’s phone call. Teachers will receive a call from me if we
close. Then the teachers will call parents to inform you of our
status.
Please,
remember during the winter months to send your child with a coat, hat
and/ or gloves. We will still try to go outside for playtime if the
weather is nice. We would hate for your child to not participate
because they are inappropriately dressed for the weather.
