In March, 2003, the
six members of the Aldersgate Jamaica Mission Team traveled to
Pear Tree River Church to lead the
demolition of the congregation's deteriorating church. While still
there, the group decided they wanted to return the next year to be part of the
rebuilding process. In March, 2004, ten Aldersgate men
returned to Jamaica to continue the rebuilding project. And in
2005, our church family sponsored two teams totaling
17 volunteers who returned to Jamaica to work on the
restoration of the Pear Tree River Church. In 2008, Aldersgate
will send the following two teams to Jamaica.
