The Malpass Brothers are an entertainment group that blends its own
brand of vintage gospel
and country and comedic banter all across the country.
Christopher Malpass was simply born in the wrong era! Only in
his early 20's, Christopher croons the tunes of the great, late
singers such as Hank Williams, Sr., Lefty Frizzell, Ernest Tubb and
Johnny Cash.
Taylor Malpass, just a young teenager, provides novel musicianship for
the group! He sports a Gibson mandolin on most of the group songs, but
also trills the audience with electric guitar licks in the styles
similar to his heroes Billy Byrd (guitarist for Ernest Tubb) and Paul
Yandell (guitarist for the Louvin Brothers).
The brother duet is joined by their father, Chris Malpass. He provides
support on the upright bass. The Malpass Brothers have shared the
microphone with Willie Nelson, Doc Watson,
Marty Stuart, Don Helms, Ray Price, Lewis Family, The Issacs, Jack
Greene, Lost & Found, Hal
Ketchum, Rhonda Vincent and many more.
