SOLDIER SALUTE SUNDAY
September 16, 2007 |
 |
Our first Soldier Salute
Sunday in March was a huge success, thanks to your help with
donations for the Care Packages. The Military Ministry Team (MMT)
is asking for your donations once again so we may send boxes
of goodies to our troops. We have been told that space is
very limited for these men, so we are going to try to ship
smaller packages more frequently.
Here is a list of items that
are on the “MOST WANTED” list. They especially like things
they can put in pockets to eat “on the go.” Use this list as
a reference when you are shopping and pick up a few things to
add to the boxes. Invite your friends to get involved. We
will have collection boxes at the church. Bring your items on
or before Soldier Salute Sunday, September 16. The MMT
will pack and ship the packages. If you would like to help,
please let us know.
