Five-Talent Stories - Barbara Snyder
During our 5 Talent worship experience we invited the people of Aldersgate to share some of their God Story.
Barbara Snyder: It seemed like everyone in my life was at a crossroads and I was feeling totally overwhelmed. My mother was actively dying in Ohio, Jack was finishing Divinity School and we had no idea where we would be going. Our son was getting married in Latvia – how were we going to handle that in the middle of a probable move and possible selling of our home? Our daughter was graduating from college – where would she be going and how would we be able to assist her during this big change in her life. Our second son wh0 was usually the one who had lots of things going on in his life was at a stable point – thank goodness!
I was overwhelmed and remembering that all hit me as I was getting dressed one morning. I sat down and asked God to help me sort it all out. I instantly felt relief – I still had no answers but knew that it would all work out – and it did – piece by piece. The nerves just stopped.
